This service is an analysis of an existing life care plan, functional capacity evaluation and/or vocational assessment to determine if the standard methodology was followed and if the resultant opinions are reliable. These reports are testifible in a court of law.
Life Care Planner is a trademarked terms that is used by Certified Life Care Planners (CLCP). CLCPs adhere to published standards of practice to develop a reliable life care plan. After a thorough review, our experts opine whether or not the author of a life care plan did follow standard methodology in life care planning or they did not. If they did not, each area of the life care plan that does not meet industry standards will be highlighted along with a clear explanation of the steps that should have been taken and why.
Function Capacity Evaluators adhere to standard principles in determining which job demands are essential and need to be tested through the FCE. The interpretation of the resultant data is key in determining an individual’s residual capacity for work. Our experts will review an FCE to determine if the Evaluator designed the FCE to test the essential job demands and if the FCE data was interpreted correctly in order to reliability determine the individual’s residual capacity to meet their essential job demands. If not, the essential job demands will be identified through reliable sources; the testing needed to test those physical demands identified; and interpretation of the testing verified through citable sources. The resultant conclusion is that the FCE Evaluators opinion are reliable or they are not reliable given the poor FCE design, lack of testing of the essential job demands or the misinterpretation of the testing data.
Vocational Rehabilitation Evaluators provide opinions on an individual’s employability, vocational potential and/or the impact of a disability of work performance. These opinions are typically based upon review of medical records, work history as well as vocational testings and labor market research. Our experts will review the vocational assessment to determine if the opinions and the facts relied upon are accurate and reliable. If not, our experts will clearly define the standard methodology, correct interpretation of the data with citable and reliable sources.
