A Medical Cost Projection is the process of reviewing records to estimate the anticipated future cost of medical services. It is based on a medical records review usually covering a portion of the care, in most cases, the last two years. This report is condensed, simplified, abstract document that provides an estimate of items and services that an injured or disabled person will, in all probability require. This report is used for mediation, settlement negotiations purposes only. It can be developed into a comprehensive life care plan if the case is not settled and proceeds to trial.
