Certified Medical Cost Projection Specialist

As a certified medical cost projection specialist, I enjoy the challenge of coding complex procedures, and continually learning new resources and guidelines to ensure our Life Care Plans are comprehensive, replicable, and defensible. Dionne has extensive experience working with adults living with mental illness, chronic pain and TBI / persistent concussion syndrome. She is PGAP certified, a Brain FX assessor, COGMED provider and has completed additional training in concussion with IMPACT and CCMI, as well as in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (ACT, CBT, CBTI, Prolonged exposure, Mindfulness, Coaching for health).

As of 2021, Dionne has become the Clinical Practice Manager at Turning Point Rehab.  Now, she is responsible for the recruitment, orientation, training, supervision and clinical support of staff occupational therapists.

As a Canadian Certified Life Care Planner, Dionne continues to develop life care plans also known as cost of future care reports for individuals with chronic health needs including diagnoses of Chronic Pain, Traumatic Brain Injury, Major Depressive Episode, Somatic Symptom Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, PTSD and Substance Abuse/Dependence Disorders.  Dionne has been accepted by the B.C.
