Dionne is a Canadian Certified Life Care Planner, and Certified Medical Cost Projection Specialist (US).
Originally from the UK, Dionne graduated with a BSc (with honours) in Occupational Therapy in 1994. Her career spans over 30 years with the majority of her practice spent working with adults living with mental illness in the UK, and Vancouver Canada.
As a Canadian Certified Life Care Planner, Dionne has developed life care plans also known as cost of future care reports for individuals with chronic health needs including diagnoses of Chronic Pain, Traumatic Brain Injury, Major Depressive Episode, Somatic Symptom Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, PTSD and Substance Abuse/Dependence Disorders. Dionne has been accepted by the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal and the B.C. Supreme Court as an expert witness in the area of occupational therapy, cost of future care and life care planning.
In her role, she provides practice support, peer review, and assists in the orientation / training of new staff at Turning Point. She continues to have a small clinical practice in Vancouver, Canada, offering return to work services, workplace accommodation, ergonomic assessment, and functional cognitive assessments.
