Wendy Harper

MS, OT/L, CLCP
Occupational Therapist
Certified Life Care Planner
Functional Capacity Evaluator

In my 30 years as an Occupational Therapist, I’ve seen how catastrophic injuries affect a person’s life—physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively. As a Certified Life Care Planner, I support people by identifying the most likely care they will need to optimize functional outcomes and future quality of life.

Wendy Harper is a Virginia-based occupational therapist and certified life care planner with over 25 years of experience in rehabilitation and long-term care planning. She brings deep expertise in evaluating complex medical needs and developing comprehensive life care plans, with a strong focus on individuals who have sustained catastrophic injuries or significant functional changes.

A longtime resident of Afton, Wendy has spent the majority of her professional career serving individuals and families across Central Virginia, including extensive work in Charlottesville and surrounding communities. Her local insight and clinical background make her uniquely equipped to support legal professionals navigating personal injury, medical malpractice, or elder care cases.

In addition to her private consulting work, Wendy currently leads the rehabilitation therapy team at InnovAge Virginia PACE, where she developed and now oversees therapy services for more than 1,000 participants in four centers: Charlottesville, Richmond, Newport News, and Roanoke. She holds a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University and is certified by the International Commission on Health Care Certification (ICHCC) as a Life Care Planner.
